At the intiation of Technology Knowledge Management, it is important to understand the scope, requirements and obIigations
with related to Technology Knowledge Management. Technology Knowledge Manager must also evaluate the Technology Knowledge
Objects that currently exist in the engagement (either with the Client or the incumbent vendor). These are knowledge
objects pertaining to Client applications and infrastructure within the scope of the engagement. Few examples for
Technology Knowledge Objects include known error records, application business flows, standard operating procedures, asset
related documentation, etc.) The key performance indicators (KPI) associated with Technology Knowledge Management, and
their measurement criteria must be understood. Technology Knowledge Manager should identify the risks and issues (if any),
related to Technology Knowledge Management. Any information or documentation already available on Technology Knowledge
Management process should be gathered and reviewed. Examples of this would be the existing Knowledge Management System
architecture and process, existing rules and policies, standard operating procedures, work instructions, metric reports,
etc. These can be useful while planning for and establishing procedures for Technology Knowledge Management for the
